Well, I figured I'd share my Valentine's Day story, since it was my first with someone!

I've been dating Molly for the last three months now. I decided it would be best for me to cook dinner last night. Well, cook is hardly the word. I decided it was easier to buy a Chicken from Sam's Club and rushed home to cook green beans, macaroni and cheese, and Italian bread! I just took out the Chicken and warmed it in the oven to make it look like I cooked the chicken!
As she came in, she saw the present I got for her. It was a basket with chocolates, a teddy bear, lotions, and a couple of planted tulips in a pot.....since I found out tulips are her favorite. I owe a big one to my co-worker who makes these gift baskets on the side. Anyway she went ga-ga over it, saying how beautiful it was. She gave me a gift too. A cookbook on making bread! A good gift to say the list.
So we sat down to eat dinner. I tried to be romatic by burning some candles and playing some soft music. After finishing and cleaning up, we sat on the couch for a while and talked. Then I decided to give her a massage while lying down in front of the fire/fireplace! How romantic can you get here? Anyway, basically she enjoyed it. I was going to use some massaging oil but I figured it get too messy though!
So I thought it was a great night myself. Figuring that it was my first actual Valentine's day with someone, I believe I was successful in my endeavor to be romantic. But the truth of the matter is that I still can't see why we have to have this one day of the year to labeled as the most romantic day of the year. Like most holidays, Valentines Day is just another hallmark holiday!

Hi Christopher
Look, I hope you don't mind, but I found your blog using how to cook chicken as a search term. I'm trying to find original articles and recipes for my cooking websites.

I can and do use the article directories, but much of the stuff in them is hardly original and gets widely used. I'm hoping to persuade people like you, who have an interest in cooking, to contribute as well. I use a wide variety of articles and styles - just so long as it's food orientated - and I think the kind of things you write about in this post would be very popular :0)

The quid pro quo is a link back to your blog - or website if you have one. If this doesn't interest you, please forgive the intrusion. If it does, I look forward to hearing from you.

Best wishes
Michael Sheridan

I think I've found a search engine with a sense of humor - I was actually looking for articles on how to cook rice, and here I am on a site called this post. There's probably an electronic explanation for this and I have enjoyed the experience, so no harm done. Have a nice day Christopher - if that's your real name :0)
