Well, I'm off to Minnesota tomorrow for the next 5 days. I plan to see the Mall of America, go to a Renaissance Fair, and visit my friend Rachel's family in that time. I will be back on Monday. Then on Saturday, I will be going up to Massachussetts with my folks to see my father's family in Taunton. So I'll be be busy these next fews.

The party was a tremendous success! I had at least between 25 and 30 come to it. It was funny to tell everybody that my mom helped in making the food before everyone came, but they enjoyed it. I had helped with the drinks from Jake, a friend of a friend. He back the honorary bartender for the night. I had many many shots of "Wet Kiss", "Crispy Critter" (which was a shot that he named after me, but I can't remember what was in it), several shots of tequila and whiskey too. Ryan, I wish you came because maybe you could have helped Nick, Sideburns, and Spider Dan be more interactive at the party. They seemed to just hang out with themselves at the dining room table. At one point, a couple of us played "Truth or Dare Jenga", one of the ladies had to switch shirts with the guy next to her! FUN!!!! I talked to one of the ladies that my cousin Dee brought, Claudia, and I told her I call her once I get back from vacation! I think she was thoroughly impressed by my gentleman skills as I walked her to her car down the driveway! The gang at Muppethouse....I hope you can come up some time in the future. I might have the fire pit up!

Other news.....a lot of people have been leaving work.....either quitting or getting fired. One of those people was my supervisor and head of the Merchendising Dept., Kim. We were all getting worried that we would lose our jobs. I have the word of the head of company that that won't happen. Whatever! We'll see.

The house is fine and steady. The hill is now fully grown with grass. On July 4th, before I could seed the bank, a heavy rainstorm washed all the dirt down into the road. That day I had to dig out the culverts so that the water could wash down without backing up. A few hours later after I finished, it rained again and the rest of the dirt wash down again. Sufficite to say, I spent the next couple of days digging!

Then, the company (which I will call AHS for short) that I wanted to seed it came on that Monday, which I was waiting for three weeks for him to come. He gave me this long speech about the pH of the ground and gave me a quote for the amount of seed, which was 400 for a tank of seed, and it would be at least 4 tanks to do my lawn. I told him that we would talk to him once we got the bank graded again and then he could come up if we wanted him to. That next Saturday, when the bank was getting graded, my dad decided to seed ourselves! After we finished, I called and left a message for the AHS that I didnt' need him, which was at 6. At 10:30 that night, I get a call from his wife which I thought it was someone else. Well, I kind of made a fool of myself but finally realized it was them and he told me he would call me back the next day. Sunday came, he didn't call. ON monday, I got a call from my father at 9 which he told me that AHS put a lien on my property for 500 dollars. Well, to make the story short, I wanted to fight them on it but my father believed it would have cost more to go to court, so I ended up having them seeding part of the bank, which what we seeded looks far better! That's the story!

Well, once I get back from my vacation, I try to post the pictures. Stacey, Congradulations on the new place! When's the party? Ryan, when's your party too? Margie and David.....sorry you couldn't come the party but I hope to see you soon.....at Stacey and/or Ryan's party....if they invite me! BTW.....where have you been David? You haven't written in your journal. Suzie.....I see that you kept an eye on the Evite to see who was coming. I understand why you didn't come....there would have been nobody you know there at a my (a complete stranger) place (out in the middle of NOWHERE). I do hope to finally meet you. Gina.....love the sight, you are very intriguing! Ginger....I hope everything is going well on your end with Robert and job!

Yes.....as you see....I'm back! I finally got my computer working....internet set up....and I here at my house on my computer on the internet! Lot's to tell but I leave it for another time.
